TRAGIC! 9 CHILDREN KILLED AS SCHOOL VAN FALLS INTO GORGE: PHOTOS VIRAL

In a tragic accident, atleast nine students of a private school in Uttarakhand’s Tehri city were killed after the private jeep in which they were travelling fell in a gorge.

The accident took place on Tuesday morning when the bus lost control while taking a turn. 

Police Officials say that, the private jeep was carrying students from their home to school when the driver lost control and the vehicle fell into a gorge. The exact reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) personnel involved in the rescue operations said that about 20 students were in the bus when the jeep fell into the gorge.

Nine were died on the spot while five who have been seriously injured and have also been rushed to AIIMS, Rishikesh, the SDRF added.
