Raya Sarkar, a woman lawyer, in a Facebook post on Tuesday, invited others to share academics who are sexual harassers. In her Facebook post, 58 professors were alleged as sexual harassers and were listed by the name and the institution they serve at. The list reportedly included academics from several premier academic institutions of India. Though this viral post on Facebook encourages women to come out in the open and talk about the offenders, it is also worrying because anyone can blame anyone without concrete proof and cause serious defamation.
