According to reports, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on Richter scale jolted the Andaman Islands at around 8.09 am on Tuesday morning. The earthquake is considered moderate as it has to hit at least 6 in Richter scale to be considered strong. No casualties or damage has been reported so far, say reports. Earlier on January 14, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Andaman Islands.
