40 hostel students strip-searched after used sanitary napkin found in premises

About 40 students of Dr Hari Singh Gour University in Madhya Pradesh protested near the principal’s quarters on Sunday after their hostel warden strip-searched them, say reports. The students alleged that the warden strip-searched them to find out who threw a used sanitary napkin which was found in the hostel premises. The vice-chancellor of the university condemned the incident and assured that strict action will be taken against the warden if found guilty, reports added.
