In yet another case of violence on stray animals, 4 stray dogs from Pune were burnt alive and 16 dogs were poisoned. According to media reports, the NGO AaCT members found scattered body parts of decomposed and burnt dogs. While they enquired the locals, they reportedly said that 4 dogs were tied with rope, dragged for 50 meters and burnt by unknown people. The decomposed body parts of dogs were reportedly sent for postmortem, and the police are expected to start investigation after they get the results.
