Minister of State for Human Resource Development Upendra Kushwaha told in Rajya Sabha that only 62.81% schools in India have access to electricity. He added that Jharkhand with only 19% schools having electricity was at the bottom, with only 19% schools having access to electricity, while all schools in Delhi, Chandigarh, and Puducherry have electricity.
