According to reports, at least 36 people were killed in West Bengal after a bus, travelling from Karimpur in Nadia district to Malda, plunged into a canal in Murshidabad district on Monday. While the rescue team pulled the bus out using cranes after almost eight hours, several others are missing, say reports. The driver of the bus, carrying at least 60 passengers, was allegedly talking over the phone when the accident occurred.
