Nearly 35,000 people joined the march lead by farmers and adivasis in Mumbai on Saturday. Allegedly, the protest will reach the Maharashtra Assembly on Monday and so security has been tightened and traffic advisory has been issued. The march began on Tuesday from Nashik and the protestors are to complete a walk of about 180 km. The farmers demand waiver of all their loans and for the Swaminathan Committee report to be implemented.
