Gorakhpur District Jail Superintendent Ramdhani Muni on Tuesday reportedly said at least 23 inmates, including a woman, were found to be HIV positive in the medical camps organised over the past eight months. He further reportedly added that the 23 inmates are being treated at BRD Medical College and Hospital. Out of the 1,800 inmates, 1,400 prisoners already underwent tests, while the tests for the remaining will be conducted soon, Muni reportedly said.
