TWO TRAINS ON SAME TRACK COLLIDE AT HYDERABAD; RESCUE OPERATIONS ON

In a sad and shocking case, two trains came head-on and collided at the Kacheguda Railway Station in Hyderabad today.
In the collision, at least eight people have been injured; while no death reports have been made so far.
As per NDTV reports, the Railway authorities are trying their best to safely rescue the driver of one of the trains after getting trapped in the wreckage.
Due to technical failure, the crash is said to have occurred which has led to alerts not being made when both trains wound up on the same track.
Among the two trains, one is a commuter train that belongs to the Hyderabad Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) while the other is the Hundry Express that travels from Secunderabad City Junction and Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh.
Further details are awaited in this matter and rescue operation are on.
