CITY SHOCKER! 2 DIE AFTER FALLING FROM SECOND FLOOR OF PUB

In a shocking case, two people died in Bengaluru last night after they fell from the second floor of a pub.
According to the police, the victims have been identified as Pawan and Veda, who were both in their thirties. Pawan, worked with a leading newspaper in the city, while Vedha, worked in a private IT firm.
The incident happened when both were climbing down from the third floor of the pub on Church Street and fell from an opening in the second floor, reports NDTV.
Vedha died on the spot, but Pawan succumbed to injuries in Bowring Hospital, police added.
Reports also state that, the accident took place as the newly-appointed Bengaluru Commissioner of Police Alok Kumar was on surveillance rounds in the area.
Currently, a police complaint has been registered at the Cubbon Park Police Station against the pub and the building owner. The police are yet to receive a post mortem report to determine if the two were under the influence of alcohol.
