Brazil’s top electoral court, the Superior Electoral Tribunal, has voted 4-3 against removing President Michel Temer from office over allegations of illegal campaign financing during the 2014 presidential election. The court's chief judge, Gilmar Mendes reportedly said, “There are serious proven facts, but not enough to annul the mandate.”
