International Cricket council has reportedly threatened to suspend a venue for two years if it gets 10 demerit points for pitches and outfields during international matches. When a venue accumulates 5 demerits points during an international match it will be suspended for a period of 12 months and when it reaches 10 points the venue will be suspended for 24 months, said ICC.
