Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has thumped skipper Virat Kohli, who is pushed to fourth spot, to take the second spot in the latest ICC Test Batsmen Rankings. Pujara, with 861 rating points, is only behind Australia skipper Steve Smith. Notably, Pujara knocked a 525-ball 202 in the third Test against Australia in Ranchi preventing his side from going for another loss in the ongoing series. England's Joe Root has taken the third spot.
