The International Cricket Council has slapped fines on South Africa for maintaining a slow over-rate during the first ODI of the three-match series against England on Wednesday. The fines were imposed after AB de Villiers’ side was found to be one over short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration. While AB de Villiers, the captain, has been fined 20% of his match fee, his players have received 10% fines.
