According to the US Geological Survey a massive earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale struck the Philippines on Tuesday. The undersea earthquake was reportedly measured at a depth of 617 km. However, no warning, advisory, watch or threat was issued by the US Tsunami Warning Centre after the quake.
