The Indian Presidential election consists of 10,98,882 number of votes, in which a candidate needs 5,49,442, or 50% to win. Currently, the ruling BJP has around 48.3% votes, including those of its alliances, and needs the remaining 1.7% to make its candidate win. The Congress has 15% votes, TMC has 6% and AIADMK has 5%.
