Yoga guru turned entrepreneur Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali became India's second biggest fast moving consumer goods maker, after it pocketed a revenue of Rs 10,561 crore in the 2016-17 fiscal. Reportedly, the company earned the most from cow's ghee, which contributed Rs 1,467 crore. Its toothpaste contributed Rs 940 crore to the turnover, while Ayurvedic medicines contributed Rs 870 crore. The company also became the market leader in cow's ghee and Ayurvedic medicines.
