The Madras High Court, on Thursday, reportedly ordered Chennai city police commissioner to grant permission to students to conduct hunger strikes in protest against Neduvasal hydrocarbon extraction project in Chennai. Notably, several villagers and students at Neduvasal have been protesting against the project for the past few days.
