Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has reportedly said that government will take efforts to bring monorail services to Coimbatore. Palanisamy also announced various welfare measures including combined bus stand in Vellakoil at Rs 120 crore, four-way roads, flyovers, upgrading of Kovai government hospital and multi-floor parking. Palanisamy also announced that the farmers would get drought relief in five days.
