Govt orders ISPs to curb circulation of child pornography

The Indian government has reportedly passed some new directives to the Internet Service Providers to take some immediate step to regulate the circulation of child pornography content. ISPs have been asked to refer to Internet Watch Foundation resources to red-flag the illegal websites containing Child Sexual Abuse Material. Notably, the government last year had formed a committee to look into complaints of CSAM.
