Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, in the Assembly, on Tuesday, reportedly announced that the cases against students allegedly involved in agitations following the protests at Marina beach on January 23 would be withdrawn. According to reports, around 36 students had been arrested for their alleged involvement in arson during the violence.
