A Right to Information petition on Tuesday revealed that the Indian government has spent more than Rs. 1,100 crore on advertisements featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to reports, the information and Broadcasting Ministry has revealed the information and the expenditure were between June 1, 2014, and August 31, 2016. Notably, this expense doesn't include advertisements cost spent on the print media.
