Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc on Wednesday reportedly warned the Gmail users to be aware of emails from known contacts asking them to click on a link to Google Docs. Notably, the warning was issued after significant numbers of Gmail users complained about the phishing scam in social media. Google reportedly said its abuse team “is working to prevent this kind of spoofing from happening again.”
