Goa Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar has reportedly said Lamanis, members of a roaming tribe mostly addressing from Karnataka, should be banned from Goa as they besmirch the state’s reputation. Lamanis, known for their colourful outfits are involved in the annual tourism trade, selling jewels and handmade outfits along the coastline to the visitors who frequent the coastal state.
