According to a study conducted by Amen Clinics, the brains of women are significantly more active in many areas of the brain than men. Amen Clinics compared 46,034 brain SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography) imaging studies provided by nine clinics, quantifying differences between the brains of men and women. The areas included prefrontal cortex, involved with focus and impulse control, and also the emotional areas of the brain, regulating mood and anxiety.
