Every year we see men with beard hashtagging their pictures with #NoShaveNovember and the hashtag will be on trend throughout the month. But why is it exactly called so? Read to know.
No Shave November started way back in 2009 in the USA. It started as a social media campaign on Facebook to raise money and create awareness for cancer research.
The goal is to embrace hair, which cancer patients lose and letting it grow wild and free, says Instagram user mistermarro. The people are also encouraged to donate the money they spend on grooming and shaving to cancer research and to save lives.
No Shave November is a month-long campaign to create awareness. It encourages to embrace hair and educate people on cancer prevention. You can either participate in it or encourage others who participate in it.
