VIDEO: MONKEY SHARPENS STONE, BREAKS GLASS WITH IT IN AN ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE ZOO!

For those who have watched the series FRIENDS, you will know how Ross's monkey Marcel was clearly clever. Such a capuchin monkey was spotted in China zoo, doing no monkey business.

Monkeys have almost similar intelligence as human beings do and it has been observed under several occasions. In China zoo, a little smart monkey tried to escape the zoo by shattering the zoo glass.

The monkey was seen sharpening a rock and hitting the glass wall to break it and gets successful with it. The incident took place at the Zhengzhou Zoo in Central China’s Henan Province on August 20.

A tourist who witnessed the incident said, '‘The monkey was sharpening the stone, then it started hitting it on the glass. The monkey scared itself away, but it came back to take another look and even touched it."

"This monkey is unlike other monkeys. This one knows how to use tools to break walnuts. When we feed walnuts to other monkeys, they only know to bite it. But it had never hit the glass before though. This is the first time. It's toughened glass, so it would never have got out,” said a zoo worker.

All living beings have the right to be free. It would be really great if the zoo decides to abide by the monkey's wish and let the little Mr. Smarty Pants free in the wild or transfer him to a more natural zoo than locking him up within walls.
