Maya Kodnani, former Minister and a convict in the infamous Naroda Patiya massacre in Gujarat, has reportedly requested the court to summon BJP chief Amit Shah to prove her innocence. The court will hear her request on the 21st of this month. Notably, Maya Kodnani served as the Minister for Women and Child Development of Gujarat in Narendra Modi government. Ms. Kodnani was sentenced to 28 years in jail for her role in the Naroda Patiya massacre in 2014.
