Former AIADMK councillor GG Ravi has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang in Katpadi on Sunday. According to reports, Ravi, who is the chairman of the GGR Engineering College in Vellore, was murdered with sickles near a marriage hall at around 8.45 pm. Police suspect that the murder could have been carried out by a gang of a local goon Mahalingam, who was earlier allegedly killed by Ravi’s sons.
