Following UP, Madhya Pradesh to set-up ‘anti-Romeo’ squads?

The Madhya Pradesh government is reportedly planning to introduce “anti-Romeo” units to prevent harassment of women in the state. Speaking at a police academy event, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said: "Soon, a campaign will be launched against Majnoos." He also reiterated his opinion about contemplating a law to hang those who rape minors. Noticeably, Madhya Pradesh’s neighbor state Uttar Pradesh introduced the “anti-Romeo” squads last month.
