Australian opener Aaron Finch on Tuesday was named as the national side’s captain for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka, scheduled to start on February 17. This comes after regular skipper Steve Smith and first team members David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc were rested and will be a part of the Test squad facing India from February 23. Meanwhile, Finch was also named the captain of the Australian ODI team on Monday for the first ODI match against New Zealand in Auckland.
