Due to the fake news that is spreading ahead of UK general elections, Facebook will reportedly be deleting "tens of thousands" of fake profiles as a part of its larger plan. According to reports, Facebook is launching a fact-checking initiative and said it would stop promoting posts that show signs of being implausible. Notably, in Britain, Facebook is also running newspaper adverts about ten tips on spotting fake news.
