A group of forty-six Muslim clerics in Assam issued a fatwa against 16yr old singer Nahid Afrin. The fatwa is said to be a reaction to Nahid performing songs against terrorism. Nahid was the first runner-up in the 2015 season of a musical reality TV show - Indian Idol.
