The death toll in Madhya Pradesh has risen to five after two debt-ridden farmers died in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. A 68-year-old farmer and another debt-ridden farmer killed themselves as the government struggled to contain acute agricultural distress. Notably, five farmers were killed at a police firing during protest in Mandsaur district of the state.
