In a bid to curb the inappropriate content on its website, Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday announced that the company is set to hire as many as 3,000 people. Zuckerberg added that the top priority of this move was to monitor and remove videos such as murders and suicides. This comes after a Thailand citizen reportedly broadcasted the murder of his daughter, while a man in Cleveland killed a 75-year-old man, and shared it on Facebook Live. Notably, Facebook already has 4,500 employees who review posts that violate its terms of service.
