Facebook has reportedly launched its ‘fake news’ crackdown initiative by rolling out its ‘disputed’ news tag on stories deemed false. However, this feature is reportedly not yet available to everyone. If the fact-checking organisations, working with the social media giant, find the story to be misleading, it will appear in newsfeeds with a “disputed” tag, along with a link to a corresponding article explaining why it might be false.
