The city police on Thursday arrested a former music student of the Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University for allegedly sending a threat letter to vice-chancellor 'Veena' E Gayathri on July 24.  The 25-year-old suspect Barani Kumar, a degree student in Thavil during 2010 and 2013, was dismissed from the college for his irregularities.
