Amidst a row of allegations that Electronic Voting Machines are tampered in the Uttar Pradesh and Punjab Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India has reportedly said that the EVMs are not tamperable, given the effective technical and administrative safeguards. However, if any specific allegation with material facts is presented, it will be looked into with all seriousness on administrative sides, added the ECI.
