The Election Commission has reportedly announced that it is planning to conduct the local body elections in Tamil Nadu before May 15. According to reports, the electoral body made this announcement before the Madras High Court on Monday. Notably, the election was scheduled to be held in September last year and was later postponed indefinitely.
