An earthquake of a magnitude 6.9 reportedly hit the southern Indonesia on the midnight of Monday. According to reports, the epicentre of the quake was located 130 kilometres south-east of the Indonesian city of Palu on the island of Sulawesi. However, the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology has said that there was no threat of a tsunami. The National Disaster Management Agency has been reeled in for the rescue mission. No official number of injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
