US President Donald Trump on Monday signed a new travel ban which will reportedly end legal challenges on the matter by imposing a 90-day ban on issuing new visas for citizens of six Muslim majority nations. Further, the county’s refugee program is set to be suspended for over 120 days and will not accept more than 50,000 refugees a year, in contrast with Obama’s 110,000 cap. Notably, the new ban signed by Trump will not take effect until March 16.
