Former Argentina football captain Diego Maradona reportedly said that US President Donald Trump is a 'cartoon', while his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is a 'phenomenon'. Speaking about Trump, Maradona said, “He’s like a cartoon to me, if we talk about politics.. Every time I see him on TV, I switch the channel”. Meanwhile, for Putin, the Argentine said, "Putin is a man who can bring peace to many in this world. He is simply a phenomenon".
