Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav has reportedly said that he did not approve of his party’s alliance with the Congress and would not campaign. Mulayam said his party is completely capable of fighting elections alone, adding, “When we did that, we formed government with a majority. So this was not needed. So I am completely against this alliance, I won't campaign.”
