Dhinakaran wanted to buy AIADMK election symbol for 50 crores

Delhi police have reportedly said that TTV Dhinakaran was willing to pay Rs 50 crore to win rights to the party's twin-leaf symbol. Delhi police claimed that a middleman Sukesh Chandrasekar arrested in Delhi was found with Rs 1.3 crore, which was allegedly meant as a bribe for the Election Commission in exchange for the symbol. According to police reports, the man who he had deputed to buy the symbol for him was reportedly found at a hotel in South Delhi. Dhinakaran has been charged with conspiracy and corruption in the police case, and a Delhi police team will travel to Chennai to issue summons to Dhinakaran.
