The University Grants Commission (UGC) has reportedly asked all the universities to include identification mechanisms like Aadhaar numbers and student’s photograph in the degree certificates. This is expected to curb the duplication of degree certificates. Other than this, the UGC has also asked the institutions to include the mode of  delivery (regular, part-time or distance) in the degree certificates.
