Portuguese skipper and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, on Monday, won the FIFA World Player of the Year award for 2016, the fourth time in his career. Ronaldo has said that 2016 was a magnificent year at a personal level and a sporting level. Ronaldo had won this award in 2008, 2013 and 2014. Notably, Ronaldo also won the Ballon d'Or award for his performance in 2016.
