The Madurai bench of the Madras high court has reportedly ordered Home Secretary of Tamil Nadu and DGP Rajendran to explain over the arrests at Tamukkam ground in Madurai during the Jallikattu protests. According to reports, the court’s order comes after an advocate, named Kanakaraj, filed a plea seeking the release of those arrested during protests.
