Public interest litigator and social activist Traffic Ramaswamy has reportedly filed a petition in the Madras High Court on Wednesday appealing the court not to allow Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam to hoist the National flag on Republic day. According to reports, Ramaswamy also added, in the petition, if the Governor is not present, the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court must hoist the flag.
