According to reports, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 27 regarding the the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET) for MBBS/ BDS admissions. Palanisamy is expected to seek exemption for students of the state from taking the test. Notably, parties cutting across political affiliation, barring the BJP, have come out in support of the state government's persistent demand.
